Skincare has been a lifelong interest for the Australian business woman and naturopath who started the skinsaviour skin care company. Careful research had shown that although people who use skin care products do so because they want to improve their skin; many of the ingredients in the products on the market are doing the opposite. Many contain ingredients that can be harmful and irritating to the skin. Even expensive skincare was not exempt.
Frustrated by a growing list of ingredients that she did not want to put on her skin, she formulated her own skin care for her private use. Over time she received such positive feedback and demand; she further refined the formulas and began to manufacture skinsaviour in a pharmaceutical grade laboratory in clean, green New Zealand.
skinsaviour’s unique innovative formulas for both men and women contain pure botanical extracts and oils, many being time honoured traditional ingredients that appealed to her as a naturopath as well as potent, highly effective ingredients that have come from the very real advances that science has made in skin care.
What you will not find in skinsaviour
No petrochemicals, parabens, lanolin, perfumes, irradiated ingredients, mineral oils, genetically modified ingredients, no harsh soaps or detergents, animal by products, sulphates, phthalates, rare ingredients whose collection could have a negative impact on their numbers or environment, hormones, known irritants, filler ingredients or products that are tested on animals.
Damage done by irritating ingredients is not always damage we can see, but the accumulative effect of irritating the skin and the skin’s natural inflammatory response means low grade damage is being done continuously and this eventually becomes visible in the mirror as premature aging.
